A fine art portrait is a portrait that is almost like a painting. The clothing and the style is selected to fit the person I photograph. In the photo session we try out and decide together on props, clothing and background to create a beautiful portrait. I will do the edit in my specific style so that the finished product is something very special and unique. Even though we love a pretty smile, I tend to focus on the soul and the eyes. The expression is most often more mellow than happy happy.
Senior photos celebrate a milestone moment in your life and we want to celebrate that achievement and express yourself. It's a great chance to get inventive with style.

Before the session, we'll get together and discuss ideas and styles and clothing. I have a selection of clothing and props at my studio that we can choose from. If you have a particular piece of clothing or prop you would like to use, we can definitely look at incorporating those pieces into the shoot.
For Fine Art sessions, do I pick out and bring my own clothes?
This is something we can discuss before we have the photo session. Most of the time, you will do your own hair and makeup, but if you need help we can make arrangements to help you out.
FOR FINE ART SESSIONS, DO I do my own hair and makeup?
You will get all of the photos digitally after they have been edited and you will have the rights to reprint all of them, no problem.
DO I have the rights to the photos after the shoot?
Of course! I don't choose to do very many weddings per year but, if our schedules worked out and we were a great match to work together, it would be awesome to work with you on it. Contact me for more info and we can discuss it.

This is truly an experience unlike what you may typically think of in terms of having your picture taken. We'll consult with each other over what kind of look you would like and choose the props, clothing and background to create a beautiful portrait.
The portrait session will take between one and two hours and afterwards I will edit your images into something very special and unique. You will receive the rights to all edited photographs, as well as a 20x30 canvas of one photo of your choosing.

The photo session will last two to three hours where we will drive to different locations and have multiple outfit changes. You will receive the rights to all edited photos.
